Praia Verde literally means ‘Green Beach’, the name refers to the forest with pine trees where this beach begins. Upon arrival at this beach you have a really amazing view over the sea. The parking lot is slightly higher than the beach and via a wooden path you walk through the forest to the beach (2 minutes).
It is a clean and well maintained beach with an excellent and “chic” restaurant “Pezinhos n’areia” which is a direct translation for “feet in the sand”. A wonderful place to have lunch, or to end your day at the beach with a sundowner or a culinary dinner. In summer this beach can be quite busy, as many Spaniards come across the border to take advantage of this idyllic location
