Visitors to Zoomarine can attend shows of dolphins, seals and sea lions. Also the shows with the tropical birds and birds of prey are absolutely worth it.

The dolphin show displays the incredible speed and agility of these amazing animals. The trainers have built up an intimate relationship with the animals and they put on a spectacular show together. Fun for all ages! There is even an opportunity to swim with dolphins.

The seals and sea lion show have a pirate theme and it is great to see how the trainers deal with these animals. Good choreography and entertainment.

The tropical birds also put on a great show. Macaws, cockatoos and parrots work hard demonstrating their beautiful colours and ear deafening noises. The main purpose of the show is to create awareness of the environment and the need to protect habitats and species, with emphasis on the rain forests.

The spectacular falconry show displays the fastest species in nature. An extraordinary show where hawks, eagles and owls demonstrate their powerful and fast flights. Beautiful moments and emotions.

There are plenty of other attractions that the kids will love. An amusement park with various fun rides as well as swimming pools and water slides provide a day full of entertainment.

Slide & Splash

This water park is one of the largest in Europe, with an area of 7,000 m2. There is a huge range of slides, ranging from calm and relaxed to breathtakingly fast and exciting. The park offers a whole day of entertainment and fun for both young and old.

There are also other attractions such as falcons, parrots, and reptile shows.

Definitely worth a visit; enjoy a day of wild and splashing fun!

One of the most exclusive developments in golf is the two unique Jack Nicklaus Signature championship golf courses, situated on more than 1000 hectares of the beautiful, rustic Eastern Algarve.

Quinta do Vale Golf Club

“A challenging layout, in a unique natural environment”, Severiano Ballesteros.
This 18 holes golf course was specially designed by the world famous player Severiano Ballesteros. He is considered European Player of the Century, and owns Trajectory, S.L., the company responsible for this project.

The Quinta do Vale golf course is designed to attract players of all levels and is a good candidate to function as host for important international championships.

With an area of 75 hectares, the course is fully integrated into the natural landscape.

Castro Marim Golf Club

Located near the medieval town of Castro Marim, this golf course lies in a special spot in the peaceful atmosphere of Eastern Algarve.

Castro Marim was in fact the first golf course that was built in this area. The course offers the players wonderful views over the Atlantic Ocean, the River Guadiana and the nearby nature reserve Ria Formosa.

The Castro Marim Golf Course runs through the pine tree covered rolling hills and here and there, you even have a view over the Guadiana River to neighbouring Spain. The course requires careful play with strategically placed obstacles and fairways. Not to mention the very challenging bunkers lying in wait! The par-3 on the 17th hole requires particular attention with bunkers just in front of the green and a lake behind. At the same time the wind off the sea doesn’t make it any easier.

Quinta de Cima

Just like the adjacent Quinta de Ria golf course, Quinta de Cima has also been designed by the famous golf architect Rocky Roquemore. Quinta de Cima is known as a championship course and is 6,586 meters long. The course is perfectly planned with dogleg holes both left and right and undulating greens protected by bunkers and lakes.

Designed by the famous golf architect Rocky Roquemore. Quinta da Ria offers spectacular views over the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and the Atlantic Ocean. The course is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with many old trees such as carob and olive trees and other native species.

Benamor Golf

This is a pleasant 18-hole course, 71 par. Offers a good playing experience for players of all levels. The course is undulating but not hilly. The views of the mountains in the north, and the Atlantic Ocean in the south are beautiful.

The native olive, cork, fig and almond trees, often centuries old, are nicely integrated into the course. Water hazards and sand bunkers are positioned to test the player’s strategy and battle skills. The Penn A4 greens and tees are really fantastic.

The course has a club house with reception, golf shop, bar, restaurant, caddy master, changing rooms, driving range, two golf courses and a buggy bar. There is a pro throughout the year for lessons and golf clinics.
