Basic workshop Digital Photography in a group or individually

with: Ron Isarin

The workshop is suitable for those who want to improve their camera skills, get more out of it and ultimately take better photos. This applies for both digital compact cameras and SLR cameras in various practical situations, indoors and outdoors. Special prior knowledge is not required, only a healthy dose of interest and enthusiasm.

The workshops are given individually or as a family/group with a maximum of 5 people. The topics are free choice and the theory is interspersed with various practical exercises.

Location is in and around Tavira and some other locations, perhaps during a photo walk. The workshops can be booked for any part of a day in the week, including weekends.

After this inspiring workshop you will have more insight into photography, lighting and the operation of your camera. In addition to the technicalities, you will see how you, as a photographer, can influence the image by playing with light, composition and the position from where the photo is taken.

The basic principles of (digital) photography are dealt with in half a day (4 hours); how the shutter speed, the aperture, overexposure, underexposure, the iso-value and composition work. In short, how do I take better pictures with my own camera!

Two half-day sessions can of course also be reserved in order to go deeper into the subjects and to carry out more practical exercises. Certain types of photography, such as nature, portrait, macro or wedding photography can be dealt with more extensively. There is also the chance to go to a photo studio in Tavira. In other words, the programme is completely open and can be tailored to your own wishes.
