Part of the program includes a daily visit to the food market in Tavira where local farmers and fishermen sell their fresh produce. Under the watchful eye of the "chef", the best vegetables, fruit, fish and meat will be bought, followed by a 'bica' (Portuguese expesso) on the terrace at Antonio's cafe.

Portugal has a fantastic wine producing area although many have not yet discovered it.
Monique, who is the daughter of a wine importer and a qualified wine coinesseur, will accompany you to various recognised wine producers in the Algarve and the Alentejo.
Together we will taste and select the wines that will best combine with the courses on your menu.
The cellar at Casa Verdazul also has some exceptional wines from around the world.
