The most popular beaches are listed below.

This beach is accessible by taking a 5 minute boat trip from the quay in Tavira. The boat takes people to and from the beach all day, and is a fun experience in itself..
Pedras del Rei
Take a 10 minute walk (1 km) or enjoy a few minutes on a miniature train to beach at Pedras del Rei. The facilities have been adapted from an old tuna fishing station, where the old fisherman's houses still exist.
Praia Verde
Praia Verde literally means 'Green Beach' and is surrounded by stone pines which extend down the slopes to the beach. The restaurant on the beach is well worth a visit, with an excellent menu and good choice of wines.
